West Midland Safari Park required a new car park to accommodate the eight new Safari Lodges under construction.
Expanding Team
When RLB contacted Mulberry GBC regarding the provision of a new car park extension in Crawley, Mulberry provided a design that was value engineered to ensure that substantial savings could be made for their client, Tesco.
Upon handover of the new car park the Tesco team were presented with a new, fully constructed asphalt car park providing an additional 40 parking bays.
Having A Blast
West Midland Safari Park have appointed Mulberry GBC as principal contractor for the installation of services and infrastructure works at their new 8 acre safari lodges, giraffe house and rhino yard site. Services carried out by Mulberry included road and footpath construction, water main diversion, storm water, foul water, bio disc installation and electricity feed ducts into the new safari lodges.

Tesco Extra in Cardiff had an issue with their entrance road that was lifting, becoming a potential source of accidents and damage to vehicles.

The Hyde delivery office in Colindale, London is a very busy site, with requirements for constant access to the delivery yard and customer car park. Mulberry delivered car park with a redesigned traffic flow, providing a safer environment and increased car parking spaces.

When the Highfield Park Trust in St Albans Hertfordshire had issues with their existing footways breaking up and creating potential risk of harm to visitors, Mulberry provided a environmentally friendly solution.
Going the extra mile
The access roads, footways, undercroft and recycling areas at Tesco Finchley were heavily damaged and had subsidence across the site. Mulberry were requested to resurface these areas and to install bollards to
prevent vehicles accessing the pedestrianised areas outside the store.
Stakeholder engagement included neighbouring properties and businesses, with all being visited individually to ensure the scheme caused minimal disruption.
